Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Why does this keep happening?

I know for a fact we're losing customers because they don't want to talk to somebody from another country each time they have an issue. Most of them make it known that's one of the reasons why they're leaving. Yet, the leadership keeps outsourcing more positions. How is it good business to lose customers? How will that mean long-term savings in pay if there are no customers to create profit?

It all just makes me shake my head. Every year when I signed that oath I thought this was such a load of bull... Managers there have no care for anyone but themselves. How many contracts and initiatives were made so that friends in other businesses could profit, give the manager graft and once the thing failed that manager left on a golden parachute? I saw it over and over. Last year was an absolute sh—show with all the Microsoft 365 push, Agile failures beyond redemption and more division between business lines than ever. USB has burnt me on corporate employment and now that my job there was eliminated it is really hard to face going back to work because I was miserable.
