Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Long-term impact of the situation in China?

As Nike’s strong foundation in China is in danger of being shaken, I wonder if this will have long-term consequences for us?

TheLayoff.com has been censoring posts about this topic. Whole threads have disappeared. Welcome to communism. What’s next? Reeducation camps perhaps?

@vpq, yup...”the unforeseen and unfair events in China have significantly impacted our projected revenue in Q4,” will be the heartless message from the CEO while collecting his fat bonus for both layoffs and for “increase in digital sales” YoY!! Welcome to corporate America especially Nike! Now, how will VPs and their sense of entitlement react? Glad you asked: use your corporate card along with your insider knowledge of products launch as well as bots to trick the system and by 1000s of shows at 40% discount then sell them on the street for a profit of, at least, 40%. That is a sure way to make up your lost bonus money. However, please be sure not to talk to any reporters because that did not work out well for the last one to use this bulletproof method and we do not want our consumer to get upset and stop trusting our obviously ethical and transparent marketing and sales.
Oh, VPs if your corporate card is being monitored just ping me and I will give you mine for only 5% of your profits. Further more, should any heat come your way then you’ll do what you do best, blame others only this time I am offering myself as that sacrificial lamb.

All my love,
Your humble servant
Nike employee who barely gets by given the generous salary you so kindly pay me every 2 weeks.
