Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Nostalgia

That’s the worst thing. What benefit do I get from remembering how it used to be better?
There are people who constantly talk about how it used to be, and how it is now, I noticed that on this forum as well. Such nostalgia makes it harder for them to leave this place because they think that some old times will be come back again. I, on the other hand, think that it's a pretty hopeless situation. Mondelez is no longer the company I originally joined, nor will it ever be.

There's also more to "nostalgia."

The company wants the people that remember how it used to be GONE!!!

NO company wants people around talking about how there used to be a pension, how the medical was a co pay, not a deductible, how we weren't GPS, and if you got your job done, you could go home.

Oh hell no!!! Mondelez does NOT want ANYONE around from "the good ol' days".

Everyone that works here now, no pension, tracked by GPS, a soldier in their military.

Do what you are told, question nothing, even at your your own self sacrifice and demise.

Such a disgusting company, nasty group of selfish, greedy people from the top down.
