@88GnLR, the vaccinated people will be the ones spreading COVID the most because they will not gave symptoms while they are spreading. They are the group that should continue masking, just like the young people did for the past year to avoid asymptomatic spread to the old people.

CDC says once fully vaccinated you will not develop covid but can transmit. So fully vaccinated folks need to wear masks so as not to transmit to unvaccinated folks. My point is once vaccine is readily available to anyone who wants it (probably by summer) then vaccinated folks should not be forced to wear masks. Those that decide not to get the vaccine understand the risk & the consequences.

According to the CDC stats I have a 99.99% chance of survival if I get COVID-19. Why would I take a experimental mRNA "vaccine" that does not provide sterilizing immunity the way other vaccines do? The current "vaccines" only stop the spike protein of the virus, not the entire viral protein set that's why it is still possible to get the virus despite the "vaccine".

Once the shot has gone into your arm if there is a problem later on there is nothing you can do about it. Coronaviruses have had a poor history when it comes to vaccines. ADE, (antibody-dependent enhancement), is a condition where vaccines provide protection initially but the virus mutates over time and the antibodies from the vaccine do not protect against those mutations. Instead vaccines allow the mutated strain entry into the cells, bypassing the other natural immune processes that impede viral entry and replication. The result of ADE is severe disease or death. Again, the "vaccine" is in your body; you cannot take it out.

I made this exact argument to my doctor during my physical when he asked if I planning on getting the "vaccine". His response was he couldn't say 100% ADE wouldn't happen and everyone had to choose for themselves if the risk of COVID-19 is greater than the risk of the unknown when it comes to the vaccines.

The real solution to COVID-19 is to vaccinate the highest risk population only where the odds actually favor a vaccine. Treatment protocols should be perfected the same way flu treatments have been for the rest of the population. But just like the responses on this board, the fear and threats of threats of coercion will cause a lot of people to put themselves in harm's way from a virus where 99% of the people under 60 will survive.

A recent poll taken by indicated that 49% of men who identify as republican state they will not take the vaccine. This could be good news for some......

Remember that the lockdowns were largely to protect us from people spreading COVID asymptomatically. That's exactly what the vaccine causes - vaccinated person doesn't get as sick but can still spread the virus.

We locked down to protect the senior citizens, and now that they are vaccinated they refuse to do the same for us. It's worse as the new variants are more deadly to young and healthy.

I like the way you think. Employees should have the right to refuse to enter homes where customers smoke without fear of losing their jobs. You shouldn’t be required to put your health at risk just to install or repair internet. Remember it’s about health above all else.

Get the vaccine and protect yourself. Where this virus originated is somewhere in Wuhan but it is here and a threat. The vaccine helps.

First off, I'm not a tin hat, more of a think tank type. However, consider this. When the real thing happens you're going to want the real vaccine.

Turn off the paranoia, throw away conspiracy theories, and look at how a scientific experiment is performed.

Consider that humanity needs to be prepared for the real thing (if and when it happens). What would the cost be for the entire world for an experiment of that scale? Then look at the amount every country is spending in every sector to make sure everyone or most are monetarily accommodated for the current covid 19 pandemic.

Think about this, you go to a state park and they won't allow you to bring in your own firewood. Why you ask? because you could bring in disease (insects etc.) that could destroy the the park.
Now, what occurs with a global transit and shipping commerce? Same thing, you transport disease etc.

I got the vaccine... well, at least I got the first dose The second dose is a few weeks out. That being said, I am against vaccine mandates. And I truly believe this came from the Wuhan lab. Dr. Fauci, and others positing opinions that this didn't come from the Virology Institute are simply not exercising common sense. The lab is in Wuhan, the lab did experiments with Corona virus and bats... and the lab was notorious for previous viral leaks. The Chinese govt wouldn't allow anyone in, they jailed scientists and reporters, they strong armed the WHO (which I have no faith in), they lied about person to person transmission, and we are supposed to believe it came from frozen sea food? With the lab right there at ground zero? I am not stupid, and neither are most other people who see through this. I made the decision to get vaccinated and am glad that I did. But I don't want to see it forced on anyone.

To shop in a public store is not a right. It is not a violation of your civil rights. Being refused service for not following the store stipulations of mask required is not unreasonable. The best is, Medical Condition that prevents wearing a mask. How about contracting the virus and going to the hospital wheezing and gasping for air. Would that be a real Medical Condition? Worse would be lying on your stomach with a breathing tube shoved into your throat lying in a man made plastic tub to collect the bodily fluids escaping your body because you have no control. Liquid escaping either end because you have days or hours left of life. All because you didn’t want to wear a mask. Throwing an adult tantrum acting a fool and a 2yr old because the virus isn’t real. The virus is 99.4% survivable. Ever think the vaccines are 100% survivable? Y’all make zero sense and so self centered. You are the first person I wish gets the virus. Better wake up. It's not a left-right issue. Whether it's the Washington Post, or the Wall Street Journal, more and more people are figuring out what is likely. Nobody wants to hitch their wagon to the zoonotic hypothesis anymore, because that hypothesis doesn't explain how the virus became so contagious. Experiments in a lab on humanized mice would explain that contagiousness.

So, why don't you tell. China's CDC says what happened at the meat market was human to human transmission. The intermediate animal (pangolins) wasn't in Wuhan. They've moved on to frozen meat, and pig flu. Increasingly, the lab doesn't look just like the best explanation, it looks like the only explanation.

Nope, it's not the flu, and there is proof. What have we been doing - wearing masks and social distancing. But, the Covid has been hanging around. But what happened to the flu? It disappeared.

I agree with those who say that this virus was bred in a lab to greatly increase human to human contagiousness before it was accidentally released. In time, I think science is going to prove that natural evolution of a animal to animal virus couldn't suddenly have transformed to having excellent human to human spread in the amount of time since the virus was first detected. It had excellent human to human spread right from the get go.

But in the meantime, these vaccines only have emergency approval, so the court challenges could take considerable time. I'm not convinced of the enforceablity of mandating a vaccine with only emergency approval, notwithstanding what some pundits say.

Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have 80% effectiveness after 1 dose and 90% effectiveness after 2 doses.

The previous government did a very poor job of explaining the benefits of masks and vaccines to people.
