Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Covid

I told a manager that I was having symptoms of flu... I work in the bakery and we were always told that if we are sick not to come to work ... he told me that I better not have covid cause our whole bakery will have to go out and we are really busy ... thanks Sam’s club for caring about the almighty dollar over your associates who have been working through all of this for over a year . They no longer care about us .. after 15 years with them I am done...

They used to make us work sick until our health dept got involved and shut us down for 3 days until an outside company came in and cleaned and area was reinspected

What happened to you doesn't make sense.

I felt sick, stayed home and took the covid test. PCR test came back negative, and since I like money, I went to work for the next three days. Took another PCR test and it came back positive, and no one in my department had to go out because of it.

So whatever is going on in your place, isn't happening where I work.

That's not to say home office gives a flying bleep about me, but my managers couldn't have been nicer.
