I gave 22 years of my life to this company ....sacrificing time with my kids....time away from my marriage.....22 years of my soul- to this company. I spent every single day of COVID on the frontline- never took a single sick day- and yet this is how I was repaid. Everyone at Home Office KNEW this s–t was going down- the new job manuals were written in JANUARY!!! Sickening. I’m so glad it’s over- I don’t miss a single minute of that place. I am better off and I thank g-d every single day- I trust His plan for my life.

The reality is it will be the same... the same low morale... it was already horrible. We were overworked and underpaid as well us understaffed. Given a budget that made no sense with high expectations... so yes it will stay the same. Those who stayed have a rude awakening because if they think that things will change or that they will be able to actually do only their job with a set schedule it’s not happening. They are already talking about rotating weekend shifts.... how is that a set schedule? It will not change ! They are offering the assistance management position to people who are newer mids because they can’t even fill it due to the loss of good employees... they are searching for warm bodies. Nothing like being 4th in line to be offered that position. Not good enough until they have no one else. This is just so sad.

I have yet to talk to one employee who isn't upset about this. I let my employees in produce know what was happening and they were all disgusted. Many of those people have only been here for a month or 2. Not a great impression to leave on newish hires. The overall mood of the store is miserable. This is all going to spill over to how employees interact with the members. So until most employees up and quit and they just hire people who aren't knowledgeable about what kind of low life's run this company you can expect things to stay the same or get worse. I would imagine a lot of people including myself who have been screwed over by the company are just biding their time until something better comes along just so at least they have a little money coming in and insurance.

Nope there is zero chance of morale ever recovering from this.
