Okay! Most of the clubs, if not all! Got rid off this position about 3 years ago or so.
Why in my club hired a membership associate, after she quit her job because of her schedule changed.... They hired her as a membership representative!!! My question is
Are this associates supposed to run the front end? Not letting the cos do their job... because she’s playing big boss and she doesn’t have any clue how to be a manager.. trouble maker, making things about all front associates and the store manager doesn’t do anything, So many people have quit because of her, I mean is so bad I’m just happy I transfer to another department.

That last person doesn't know what they're talking about.
Take a look at the manager's schedule. The Membership representative is on there. They just don't have to open or close the building or walk any area because their sole focus is Membership.
Membership rep is not a member of management. That person is salaried and if unrealistic goals are not met.....NEXT!
This company clearly has no focus let alone a vision on how to make things better. Answer me this: just what do the new Member Service Specialists do in your club. I can tell you the ones in our club are lazy asses, who think because they make $16.00 a hour it gives them the right to boss cashiers around like their dogs. We have lazy front end supervisors who when the cat's away the mice will play. And then some are back stabbing and throwing each other under the bus. It is so comical. There is NO COMMUNICATION either. I just found out we are supposed to clock in on the new set up for COVID, where we take an assessment bad have our temperature taken. We have people out again and it will continue until mgt. gets off their butts and take charge.
She and your club manager should be clear: The Membership Representative is a salaried member of management whose sole responsibility is Membership growth. That includes upgrades, top downs, and credit. Make no mistake, membership also means anything that can directly affect Membership statistics including member service, MXVoices, and anything that can cause Members to cancel or not renew their membership.
Someone thinks she is special and wants to keep her around.
