Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

There used to be a lot more creative energy

I miss that old Nike which had a lot more innovation. I am not saying that there aren't any innovations now, but it is clear that the passion and energy, which stemmed from a great commitment to work, is no longer there. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that now it all comes down to innovation that will bring quick profits? I miss that old energy. Neither the management nor the employees care for it anymore.

@1hiu, while we get what you are trying to convey, your poor choice of words took the gloss of your message; it is offensive. Just being honest about it.

Nike is a who*e and Wall St. is her pimp. If he needs her to dress a certain way or do something different to make $$$$ for him she will do it.

As pointed out on here before, you no longer work for a marketing or innovation company. You now work for a tech company. Creativity is just not a priority. The shoes that are breaking sales records were designed 30 years ago and the ones that are actually keeping the lights on are under $90. Honestly, if you're a creative and want to actually create things, you're better off working for small company that doesn't have the pressure to keep shareholders happy.

Very hard to maintain, the race to 50 billion is over, for those that were actually in the game of course.

Time for a New Time, New Goals, New Reasons, maybe one more race.

Time for the King to come Back.

Last Lap.
