Goal #1: Do as little as possible and pretend to "care" while continuing to get a paycheck, because that way I won't feel like a chump when I get RA'ed.
Goal #2: Hope to get some kind of severance package when I get RA'ed.

I've never had a manager care about checkpoint or what I put. Maybe I've lucked out.
Checkpoint is a joke/waste of time that is just the latest successor since the old PE/PD days - nobody reads it, or your responses.. nobody gives a s**t.. its just a checkmark on a manager's survival list of activities - get customer feedback
Packages are not that good. Don't get your hopes too high.
IBM tool to only be used by IBMers. If slated for newco, its moot.
Indeed it is, but I updated Checkpoint despite the fact my manager never called me to discuss during the current year...and when she decided to give me a low rating in one category, I said how did you come up with that decision and I took her thru why I deserved a better rating...and she changed it because she had no response for me...had NO clue what I did...id–t.
Checkpoint is a colossal waste of my time with goals dreamed up by someone that hasn't the foggiest what I do at IBM.
