D & I SPells D-O-O-M For Fidelity - Take The VBO

With the massive overhaul and massive WOKE behavior at the firm, the old Fidelity is disappearing.

The company is going to align with the "Albuquerque Model" of staffing.

If you know what I mean, then you know what I mean.

I've seen "D & I" hires for women and POC. The drop-off in skills doesn't just come down a little bit. It's a drop off the table and through the floor. Engineers who can't code, reporting analysts who make pie charts out of everything, and new directors who think every business process is a JIRA board and Agile points system. LMAO!

The "Albuquerque Model" means that associates don't get profit sharing or retiree health credits. Even though it is probably the most racially diverse site doing identical work to other regions across the country.

Abby is committed to hire more diverse candidates as her direct reports. More females and people of color will be at higher levels in their diversity report. Wait for the facts on Fidelity report. They want equal male and female ratio on the next Inclusion report. Fidelity leaders are committed create diverse and inclusive culture.

The true D&I test, imo, is the states with increasing ‘voter restriction’ shenanigans occurring where Fido is very well financial embedded and has the ear of state government. My guess is they will not act and represent those that they claim to support. I would expect just double speaking their way through this moment in history. Green was chosen for a reason ($$$).

I just read through the Diversity and Inclusion report. It is a SHAM that does NOT accurately reflect the diversity of our global workforce. They purposely only focused on the US workforce. Thus, they left off our 6,600 employees in India and hundreds of employees in China. It just goes to show you who is running the show these days. The mob has an agenda and wants money out of companies like Fidelity. If you're on the fence about the VBO, I suggest you read the report!

Don't forget about the other UGLY head of the racist D&I dragon called 'Equity'. Fidelity will end up having a separate pay scale for D&I hires to fulfill their equity (not equality) goals. Senior managers are being told gender and skin color on all open requisitions! The new racism of the woke mob!

In the late 80's, early 90's Fidelity was quite racially diverse. Then for a long stretch it got very white. Fidelity should hire a workforce that resembles the various cultures the world is made up of. But, a missing component of Fidelity's D&I strategy is to have a multigenerational workforce. Add in the VBO, and the elders will be fewer. Let us not forget the words of SpongeBob, "Old people are the greatest, they are full of wisdom and experience."

I think the writer means that ABQ must have high rates of everything that is bad. I can't say for sure, but my guess is that ABQ performs poorly on most metrics... But, it meets the woke standard of diversity and inclusion.

I don't know for sure, but I have heard that Abby is more 'woke' than people can imagine. This is increasingly part of the equation when you decide whether or not to work at Fido and/or take the VBO.

We had "Me Too" outrage. Then, George Floyd outrage. Now, "Anti-Asian Hate" outrage. We now work for a company that will internally amplify every popular culture outrage. I never thought I'd say it, but this is now a consideration. You have to consider that never-ending rage politics is unhealthy for corporate culture. I'm not sure Abby can walk back this approach or that she will ever want to.

The company is getting better all the time. And, it is getting less white and male.

There is a pattern here and I don't need a Tableau dashboard to help me figure it out.

PEACE

They are hiring in India like crazy. Earlier it used to be developer level only. Now I see VP, Directors, Heads, Principal level, you name it. They will keep moving US tech employees out and keep on growing in India. They keep giving promotions and awards to the same people. No appreciation however much you work, if you ate a senior employee. Keep touting vitality in all meetings.keep touting career mobility.

On the contrary, not having a bunch of dudes hanging on here for 20+ years would be good to get things moving. Look at Abby's directs and their directs - most of them should be the first ones out. The crud starts at the top. they all manage their empires and absolutely nothing meaningful gets done.

Your right anyone who thinks like you should take the VBO! I personally don’t want to work with people who don’t believe in diversity and inclusion. If you are really talented and you truly provide value you shouldn’t be threatened by equality.
