Apparently some mobility employees have received a relocation offer to move from the El Segundo offices over to Dallas. No thanks!

They are offering mobility people to come to Dallas under the inhome job. Many people from other states been coming some staying at hotels near cfl. The inhome manager came from San Diego and is housed out of the Noc in irving
If they want people in a particular city, they just cut out the ones in the remote cities and replace with off shore and young hires.
No way. I call BS as well with the relocation offer. Unless you are a L3 or above, that’s a lie.

Texan here and I have been to California, Florida, Missouri, Virginia. I can honestly say the other states are way fkn better.Nothing but flat land for miles in DFW area. Reason I like being here is the right to carry to defend myself and family other wise I would move to North California. If all you know is California stay in California.
Agree on pretty much all, though my exposure to Denver is limited. I know all of the other 3 quite well as I have lived in them for multiple years.
Subtle racism in ATL and DAL make them a no-go-back for me. LA is dirty, expensive and sometimes depressing but I'd still take it over the other two.
Save the employee and the company big money, approve telecommuting for all affected employees. How many of these employees will relocate to TX only to telecommute anyway?
As a native Texan, I really dont care if someone likes it here or not. I've traveled the world in jobs and for pleasure and will admit Texas, especially North Texas, isnt the most scenic place but its not "ugly".
However, the reasons Texans love Texas isnt topography, its attitude and a feeling. You either have that feeling about the place or you dont.
Texas is a terrible place, they can't even handle a winter storm :D
@1wzj+1aAKnjSn : You obviously have never set foot in the 'Gundo. There is only one airport nearby, not three. The real estate is less than a mile from the beach and is highly desirable driving demand, which makes it expensive. And say what you will about California's taxes and politics, at least we don't have an ineffective jagoff like Rafael Cruz as a senator.

When I was with T I regularly traveled to Dallas, LA, Atlanta, and Denver and I can honestly say that of those places Denver was the best and Dallas was the worst -- with LA a very close second as worst.
The problem is that in both LA and Dallas you have a lot of very rich, entitled people. But in LA they don't try to pretend to be polite like they do in Dallas. It's more phony in Dallas, with a greater arrogance behind the facade of genteel hospitality. The closest I can come to describe it is that the people in Dallas behave more like European nobility or antebellum plantation owners, and behave as if their wealth and status area divine reward because they are superior or preferred by god, while in LA it's more like a bunch of jackholes got a lot of money and are now obnoxious. And there is a lot of very subtle racism in Dallas, which is actually similar to Atlanta.
Oh, and after my trips to Dallas I totally understand the saying 'dumber than a room full of Texans'
Good. Stay in the El Segundo he-l ho-e where you belong as the only employees left at that location are useless and mediocre. The best have moved on.
Pleeeze, how do you think employees felt about moving to El Segundo which is surrounded by 3 airports, ridiculously overpriced cr---y real estate, highest state taxes, largest homeless population and a state that has destructive politically-driven policies?
Don’t take the job in Dallas, it’s the CEO’s way of voluntarily weeding out expensive employees. Move and wait for the next quarterly downsizing of your organization. If you haven’t picked up on this game, I can’t help you.
