The guy will never step down, he should be embarrassed of what the company has become after it was basically left with a red bow. Only a complete incompetent CEO would mess it up and welp...he's done that magnificently.

As mentioned previously .Share holders hold the cards.
Easily done via shareholder votings. Problem is share holders are locked in. Eg. They have bouts that a high price, sell it’s a loss on their portfolio.
Clay knows this. He’s a been counter. Hence he’s staying. Only way is a vote of no confidence even then under US governance this will take years.
That said. I’m researching the current Board.
Will post findings. Making interesting reading so far.

NOV needs to be run by a more rounded person ...someone that has come up through the ranks. Knows operations, sales, products, customers, the lowly employees, the culture, etc.
