Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

What changed after you left Mondelez?

I feel like a new person after 3 months since I left here. I left when I noticed that I was no longer a happy person with a smile on my face, instead I had become cynical and moody. Then I decided enough is enough and found a new job. Now I enjoy life again. I have a lot of work in the new company too but the feeling is much better.

within a week i could sleep without waking up wondering what id missed or forgotten to do......i used to dream about this cr-p ....now i sleep like a baby!

To the person posting about their objective....push back! There is a policy in place that prevents the company from doing this! I know first hand.
Put everything in writing...than when they come at you its pretty obvious its retaliation. Gotta say, it was worth it to me.
These people are pigs, but they are really d-mb as well. Their stupidity makes things fun. My DM was so scared, it was well worth the fight. And the financial benefits...nice!

I am thinking of quitting. But I am worried about not finding something quickly, giving the car back and have to buy a car. The company sucks, too much unnecessary stress.

And if what you are saying is correct, all the DM has to do is give you an overinflated objective/number every month, which is exactly what my DM does to me every month. He makes my objective/number unobtainable, so in theory I come in at 105% to prior year, but my objective is so high I come in below 100% or barely scraping by at 100%.

My peers come in at 105-110%
Over objective, but when you actually look, they are FLAT over prior year.

You are an at-will employee. A company can fire you for any reason or non at all at anytime. Now Mondelez gets a bit scared because they don't want to have a lawsuit (discrimination usually) so they always get their ducks in a row before firing someone. At least twelve months of poor performance and multiple performance improvement plans.

From now on check everything paper you sign in this company. In the 2019 with the GPS Policy and Electronic Devices they include a clause that they can terminate your job in any moment with o without notice or cause. Is really unfair to do that, then you think you are secure in your position to wake up or say goodbye with a termination. Also, there are too many weird positions and I think the change is coming soon.

I quit about a couple weeks back man. I feel GREAT!!!! BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE!! ALL NOW IS JUST ELEVATION. THAT'S ALL WE CAN DO. ELEVATE and GROW. THAT PLACE WAS JUST.... MAN NO COMMENT. WISH EVERYONE THE BEST LUCK THOUGH. WE ALL CAN SUCCEED.
