TechM admitted they had been in talks for 9-months with Ascension before the official announcement. So much for the transparency the Ascension leadership promotes...

I was one of the 750+ who lost my job in October of 2020, after almost 23 years of service to Ascension. If you look back, Ascension has never been forthright about their layoffs. Their "Core Values" are an outright lie. Ascension is circling the drain. Get out while you can!!

@2enz+1aEEDiZU, are you saying that 1300 people were invited to the first meeting where they were told they were affected?

If you look at my apps email DL alone that was invited to the announcement of near total IT outsourcing, there are over 1300 employees. Add in all the other IT people on different lists and you get >2000 easy.

Add these employees to the employees who were laid off last Fall and the number is well over 1,000. Disgusting!

Thank you for this post. Yeah they were quite ambiguous when pointedly asked the question about how many employees were affected in the last team call. I like seeing factual numbers instead of the stupid corporate-speak given internally.

They claim 651 but the number is FAR higher nationwide.

I heard around 1000 people were impacted. So sad!

Ahh, I did see that survey request when I opened it in Chrome once. I then opened in in Firefox and it wasn't there. So you both may be right on this one.

Open it in a new browser. I assure you that you will have to answer at least one question on a Google survey to enter the site now. Sure, once they have their cookie installed you wouldn't have to do this again, but that's the whole point. We're not all sheep who allow companies to track us like you are.

Please get a clue, Gerry. The site requires neither filling out surveys or registration.

Please find a new hobby. Nobody is going to read anything at a site which requires registration or filling out surveys.
