It might help to get your (unauthorized) public profile deleted from MyLife.com, Spokeo, White Pages, BeenVerified, etc. That is what I will be doing this week.
I googled myself and right up top of the search returns was the MyLife headline with my name, location, and age. I was wondering how I was so quickly getting rejected for jobs I applied to, without an interview, considering that I have some of the best experience, credentials, and reputation of anyone in my rather narrow field. I believe this is the key, since my resume and LinkedIn profiles have been scrubbed of age indicators.
There are services that claim to remove you from 20 such sites for a fee, but I will try my luck first with the ones I've listed. Since a number of you have posted that you're not getting interviews due to age, why not give this approach a try?
