What is there not to love about T? They cut retiree benefits, they reduce salary ranges so many get no raise, they give you poor insurance that consistently rejects coverage on necessary care, they give you vision insurance that pays nothing, they constantly threaten your job with repeated layoffs, they demand you get vaccinated so they can get you back in the office where they can monitor your every move, they reduce your vacation time, the executives make poor investments then ask you to reduce spending, they look for every opportunity to take dollars from customers and reduce what they get in return, no promotion opportunities outside of major locations, .... OK, now I feel better getting that out!!! No reason to stay as this is company degrades

Finance Services sent out MVO letter. Response due between May 3 and 17. Employee can rescind up until June 17 and if not rescinded the last day on Payroll is June 24. Standard severance up to 6 months pay based on tenure plus prorated bonus paid in 2022. Mentions a supervise can meter you last day with employee consent if not able to transition work by June 24.

For those employees losing retirement benefits if not off payroll by January 1, 2022 it would make sense to take the MVO and get 6 months pay . Without an MVO they'd want to make sure they left a few weeks before end of year.....

All May cuts have been cancelled due to lack of interest.

Seems unlikely this year. People are leaving early already. Lots of management jobs posted in fact.

If cuts are expected as early as May, which organizations will be impacted? Since management will essentially reduce its own headcount through early retirements by year end, the only remaining personnel are bargained for. Not too sure layoffs will occur this year.

May cuts, if any, will start in May. 😁 What a d-mb question.
