Question: Do the Member Service Specialist position work a Block Schedule?

Thanks for the information. Currently we have four Member Specialists; 3 come in a 7:30 am and the other closes...makes not sense to me. Like the prior poster said, it seems to change from club to club. Glad I am not on the front end team, it is a sh-t show.
They are supposed to be. However if the club is very short staffed or people are on loa they will have people work when needed. However it generally remains the same, even if it isn't block. All of ours weren't working block from the beginning. Mainly the AM ones. But they were still working it roughly. Just coming in at 8 am and 10 am instead cause we didn't have enough specialists over all so we needed to pull them towards the middle. But everyone is going on block now except pt.
Well that is not what is happening in our club. In the beginning their schedules were all over the place. There were days when schedules were changing on a daily basis, not only for the Member Specialists, but the entire front end also. People were late, no shows, because of the last minute changes. We have a manager who now says the FT Member Specialists are not to be on BLOCK. It seems as if the rules change all the time at the whim of the management.
Only full time specialist have a block part time works whatever is needed
