Accenture won the Project Management contract.
Dz...they are certain to be behind with the retraining of new people. Have heard people are already leaving IT for other companies. And some staying are not motivated to help. Should not be a surprise to anyone.
All application support positions going to Tech Mahindra. Apps are all over the map. It will be very challenging. Knowledge Transfer behind schedule.
Did HCL also takeover the helpdesk or was it another company? Accenture?
@1vwb+1aG6sziM - Field Services was outsourced to Dell back in 2017-2018(?) timeframe and then Dell sold their Field Services organization to a third party (Japanese company IIRC.) Within a year or so of that happening, Ascension Technologies brought the Field Services organization back in-house and it is still being done in-house to this day. However, there are rumors that Field Services is going to be the next sacrificial lamb on the altar of cost savings (big bonuses for E-level leaders?).
What HCL took over this past Fall was enterprise compute (server, storage, virtualization, etc. administration) plus some other functions
So HCL won the Field Services in its entirety a year or so ago, Ascension fired many associates, then randomly replace the current vendor at Amita Health supplying field services of which HCL did not displace in the beginning - now Ascension is going with Tech Mahindra for EHR Apps support - Sounds like Ascension is an Indian IT firm these days -
I will try to avoid Ascension Hospitals given that !!!
Congrats Tech Mahindra!!
Tech Mahindra won the contract
Tech Mahindra also outsources BJC in St Louis - if correct Tech Mahindra is a major player in the St Louis Market Place even though Ascension has no hospitals in Missouri
Tech Mahindra I believe...
ADM Services for EHR Ecosystems ?
