Come on folks......the strategy is clear as day. You don't need to be on a global NDA to know where this going. Why do you think everything is moving into 3 or 4 main hubs. Its called bundling so you can sell pieces and keep the pieces that make money. Its been going on with all the site closures. There are going to be lots of job loss, buckle up or get out. I can tell you, life is much better outside of HW and without the crooked culture driven by poor leaders like Maddog.

Selling AERO? Nope, that will not happen when its bringing in the most money compared to others in the group. Shrinking their manufacturing footprint, maybe. Expect more sites to be closed in the next 3 years while AERO slowly moves its manufacturing to their suppliers and leave the design and innovation team around.
If you're at a location prone to getting shoved away for gaining new growth or products into your location for last 3-5 years, be prepared for the inevitable.

Rumor is Celestica, Toronto, Mississauga & Newmarket in Ontario, Canada could be interested in Honeywell Aero Canada. Relocation offers for some employees.

Spin off makes more sense if all of Aero is considered. There has never been a credible, current aerospace company that wouldn't have some amount of anti-trust problems because of breadth of Aero offerings from engines to electronics. A private buyer would be more likely, but a sale right now wouldn't attract a very good price. Private buyer would likely break up Aero into its market components since there is very little (real) synergy amongst the units.

Wouldn't it be nice working for a legitimate aerospace company? Please sell it, spin it, dump it, whatever it takes to cut ties with the joke that is Honeywell

Just a matter of timing and likely this year. Move to NASDAQ was the final clue. In this case, almost any buyer would be a drastic improvement!

Hopefully, the new management that comes to Olathe will not despise the workforce as currently.
