Last year all the rumors that I've heard about site closures turned out to be true and now there isn’t much talk about that. Is it possible that the company doesn’t have any new closure plans for the time being or is it just that the current plans are kept a secret in a better way?

Just heard the RI plant laid off all the Temps... That’s more than half their workforce
Ask the cleaning people or JLL. Make friends with the people in Facilities. A lot of them know what's up.
Best way to figure it out is to call in a work order for your building and see how fast the problem gets addressed. If it gets done relatively quickly, that building is probably valued for some reason. If the work order is ignored or keeps getting pushed out, then that's not a good sign. Easy to make some good predictions this way.
Many more sites are going to get axed before the year is up. It ain't moving to lower cost sites but to external parties to make up more of that savings that MM is desperately seeking.
Every site with all or a portion of its business not restricted by ITAR or monuments (i.e., infrastructure that is astronomically expensive to move, make or purchase). If you don't know if your site has ITAR or monument restrictions, it doesn't.
UOP in Role, CH and Antwerp, Belgium. Done by june 30th.
There are other sites that will be impacted. Those that working transitions are on NDAs and can't talk about them.
The GSI teams seem to be overwhelmed but I am sure a couple more sites will be announced this year.
And no, no one on NDAs will talk about them
Facts only please. No rumors.
