Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Should I be worried?

Three people have left my team in the last two weeks. One of them is (was) a manager and the other two were always the friendliest with him (I'm trying hard not to use the verb that combines a color and a body part.) Could it be that something is coming and he warned them in time to get out? Or am I just being paranoid?

This post is a perfect example what a paranoid troll would post. All those question marks are placed there to make you think, doubt your situation and question your future in the company. Flimsy work at its best.

I know ppl who have left the bank because other they got offers at other places that have more flexibility remote/hybrid work.

Why would they leave instead of waiting to get packaged out?

"Hey, layoffs are coming!"

"I guess I'll quit now instead of being paid to do nothing for several weeks."

No need to worry, for now. Three people are out, work gets spread around, you have job security until the next reorg, before year end. Cheers!

That's good news for now, 3 ppl out, work gets spread around and unless there is a major reorg, you are safe for the next 3 months. Cheers!
