I constantly hear about some of the very talented people leaving. It seems to me that Fiserv no longer wants or can retain the talents? Or perhaps better said, Fiserv can't hold anyone back.
That's awful. I just wonder what this company will look like when everyone worth anything leaves and they become unable to attract new talented people.

Forced rankings was a OFD practice as well, so it's unlikely that is changing.
Sorry, we’ve attended meetings with senior leaders where they have ended the OFSV practice Yapuke instituted of forced rankings at OFSV. So your information is now six months old (time since Yabuki has been gone along with his policies) outdated and incorrect.
Talent obviously doesnt matter given that Stack Ranking is used to force a bellcurve on employee ratings.
Managers must have one person with a DNM and only one with an EP.
So you8 end up having to force a DNM of a good employee and deny EP to employees that deserve it.
Oh and HR will drop by to deny that this happens and that they tell managers not to do it but I've seen it done for several years.
If your wondering why you didnt get that rating (and associated raise) - this is why.
Trust me, if you came from OFS you will NOT want to see what this company looks like down the road.
