Ranking about to drive another wave of resignations

The ranking system is about to drive another wave of resignations. People who have been working their as--s off and have always been ranked well will be told they aren’t performing. They will then question everything and start applying for jobs elsewhere. Morale will plummet from current rock bottom to previously unimaginable lows.

What is upper management thinking? They are destroying the company. This will become a case study in MBA programs of what not to do. They are going to set off a death spiral and wave of resignations they won’t be able to stop.

Better financial decisions? Lol! The company keeps selling assets to pay the dividend. It's on a death spiral to cover the dividend.

The sky is falling. If you don’t see that you must be working from home still.

We have started a death spiral we can’t stop. Look at all the resignations.

Dude, against your arguement, and who are those id--ts responsible for over resourcing all this years? And why are they still employed while other got chopped? Please ask DW and report back to us.

Stop with the sky is falling just because the company is making better financial decisions. Its because of overresourcing which led to this environment.

Dear Anonymous, I hope you make it to the expensive good for nothing near retirement workers status one day but you probably won't with your attitude.

Hey guys, this ranking system is nothing new and something not invented here. One of its earliest origins can be traced to a company named GE. Perhaps you have heard of them, when they used to be an iconic American company back in the day. They implemented a "rank & yank" method of employee performance review, which basically meant that every year approximately 10% of the employee base would be force ranked to the bottom and those employees would become Gawn Pecawns.

Well, one can only imagine the chaos a whacka-doodle system like that can do to a high performance organization...…. an employee theoretically could be a superstar one day and bottom feeder the next. As a result, they lost a lot of great talent. Fast forward to today, they are a mere shell of their glorious past and considered one of the worst performing companies. Not because they didn't have really great assets with really wide moats, but because they kept losing great talent and even more importantly had a harder time attracting new talent. Let's be very honest, who in their right mid would knowingly want to go work for a company where you are the hero one day and goat the next!

Well anyhooo, let's hope history does not repeat itself and GLTA.

Good. We can definitely lose some more fat. Hope they finally get the expensive good for nothing near retirement workers this time. Time to ship that dead weight out.

Denison study is a great example of management only choosing to act on recommendations that don’t impact them.

Some consultants sold upper management on the need for turnover. I’m not holding my breath that the same thinking will be applied to them though!

Problem is the way they are brought up in the company and moved from role to role. G to hey don’t realize the depth of knowledge required to run the company and devalue experience and technical skills.
