I just heard from a reliable source that branches around the country that were temporarily closed because of covid staffing issues will remain close. This is going allow the company to lower their costs and increase their bottom line.

This will just push people to use other fin tech solutions for their banking like Chime, etc.
Having more features available on-line effectively thins out the customer population as far as branch visits are concerned.
