A much better threat would be to quit and/or sell all your Cisco stock if MM becomes CEO. No one in their right mind would cut off body parts, so that's a very empty threat.

Now now ... calm down. One director leaving doesn't mean jack. People come and go all the time particularly in the Bay Area. I was recently in a call where a former AWS technical account manager joined Cisco. I sure don't read this as massive layoffs coming to AWS. Will there be layoffs at Cisco? Probably, it's become a bad habit with the ELT for several years now. Which groups will be targeted is anybody's guess. Don't read too much into folks coming and going. Do your job, keep your skills in check and relax.

Since offshoring the TAC and software many years ago, both have went into the toilet. Hiring over paid, out of their league contractors has caused even more issues across the board. Then the centers.... Talk about a TOTALLY incompetent organization. They need to flush the toilet and get rid of MM and AB, quit the H1B mess, bring regression testing REAL regression testing back to software development, and do some real innovation. Higher bandwidth interfaces is not innovation. And get someone competent at CEO. Just wait, the EEOC woke crowd will do the opposite and promote MM to CEO before it's over, no matter how far under the ship has went.
