I posted something on chevron attrition, why did it get deleted? I did not identify anyone or say anything offensive?
Btw ... the attrition train rolls on, I see more today

I know one guy who was forsed to quit by his wife because she was freaked out by the big Texas storm and power outtage. I guess they moved back to Oklehoma. Too bad Chevron don’t have an OK office.
@2dpc salaries, not saleries.
Attrition is not outside the norms.
Chevron has always prided itself on maintaining the median salery range in the industry and participated in the annual salery survey. If competition hots up, saleries will rise. Good news is that when times are rough, saleries never go down. Layoffs happen, but you will never see salery cuts.
As a retired HR Professional from Chevron, I can guarantee that you will not see any excessive increases in salary or additional bonuses like the petrotech. MW has made it clear that our salaries are inflated and need to be lowered or flat for several years. The old days are gone. This is a new lower cost management structure. Only the execs will get the big money moving forward.
Everyone needs to face a few facts. There is a small percentage that gets a career and the promotions. Those people are selected early and the rhyme or reason for that selection isn't clear. You can fight the process but it's a waste of time. You have a choice of staying or going somewhere else. That somewhere else is exactly like what you left. The benefits and pay in CVX are generous. Save your money.
Attrition is good for employees. When the market is hot and staff are jumping ship for better jobs, salaries rise. If attrition gets up to 10% per year or so Chevron will boost salaries quite a bit or bring back the perto tech bonus. That was sweet!
Did you post it on theLayoff's.com? If so, why? Answer that and you'll know why it was deleted.
I have to wonder if attrition and morale will be mentioned in any town halls or will it be more talk about the dividend.
It was probably offensive to management that employees are unhappy. We should all be happy and serve the dividend well.
Stay awhile, stay forever...
No one would leave Chevron! A ha ha ha ha
Would rather sack groceries than work for Chevron.
