Warner Media employees did not have a pension benefit post AT&T acquisition. They got an increased company match in their 401k instead.

It's the TW employee's who might get screwed, they will be vested in AT&T Pension, however the new company may not offer any pension plan. I would expect only a 401(k). AT&T current Pension can't be touched.
