They just announced you can only use 80 hours of PTO through your firing date in three months. I have well over twice that in front loaded PTO since I have not used it this year. They are not going to pay out PTO either.

@jkn+1aUTFfZy - If you take a job with the subcontracting company (TechM,) you still get your severance package (at least that's what they did for enterprise compute last Fall. One server guy I knew got hired by HCL and he had 25 years with Ascension so he walked away with a nice little chunk of change by the time Ascension paid it out...
I don't know how much PTO TechM offers but HCL offers 2 weeks a year for their stateside employees regardless of how many years you've worked and that is also to be used as sick leave...
If you find another job, take it! I heard TechM pto is 2 weeks. They ARE saying the people being let go are valuable, well, their knowledge is "We appreciate yiur talent and skills, we really do". So tone deaf. Other poster is right: CORPORATION WITH A CROSS. Domestic jobs sacrificed for their sins. Wonder how long it will take for politicians to get wind of this. Oh wait, they lobby heavily for their interests even if they are contrary to the best interests of the taxpayers.
Is ANYONE surprised by this information? They have people with 30+ years of experience and told they are no longer valuable.
Employees can only carry 40 hours into the next year, but some get several hundred a year based on seniority.
They are no longer a ministry...just a corporation with a cross.
So you're saying they won't honor PTO. Will they honor severance?
Theyre going to hold your severance package if you leave early, don’t accept a job that’s offered Orr r accept a job with the new contract company
There’s a reason for that……. End of this week is when they announce who will be kept with techm….. like the other post said… cough cough…
What is TechM offering for PTO?
Cough, cough, cough. Get sick...
