Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Business Case

The AT&T debacle will be studied for years. If you’re in investor relations save your notes and sell them to the Harvard Business Review.

HBR has been part of the problem all along by peddling one outlandish and unproven business theory after another, and voila, 6 months later, T implements another new 'transformation'.
I remember the HBR 'Employee Happiness' issue, and sure enough, we had a 'Chief Happiness Officer' six months later.
Did it work? I dunno, most employees got fired. I'm sure they are happy somewhere else..

Heck even a Dallas Jr. College Dropout could see this outcome.
Mt. View, Cedar Valley, El Centro, Dallas Baptist and ACC Metro Center inclusive.
All the places that anyone that can walk or wheel into is admitted.

@she. And you know this, how? Let me guess, you’re actually a Harvard MBA grad but you’re just holding down the job as an outside tech ..... to stay in touch with the little people. You’re in the wrong lane.

Last time I look, HBR isn't what it used to be. Keep in mind that they are selling content and services to executives, not exactly hard nose analysis while appeasing current and future clients. Gone are the wordy 20 page summarized case studies, it is more charts and graphs and softballs Q&A's, with flashy web design content.
