ExxonMobil is the greatest single-use plastic waste polluter in the world, contributing 5.9m tonnes to the global waste mountain, concludes the analysis by partners including Wood Mackenzie, the London School of Economics and Stockholm Environment Institute. The largest chemicals company in the world, Dow, which is based in the US, created 5.5m tonnes of plastic waste, while China’s oil and gas enterprise, Sinopec, created 5.3m tonnes.

Why doesn't EM harvest some of that huge vortex ball of plastic roaming the central Pacific?
It is ready-made and probably just grab and go.
Good public relations could spin out of it.

I do appreciate other’s comments on this one. You vote with your dollars. Educate yourself and don’t buy items that you don’t want to support. Companies exist to make a profit. This isn’t a charity. Businesses will go in the direction that has demand and makes money.

This isn’t limited to the O&G business either.
