Thread regarding GE Healthcare layoffs

Could this company be fixed?

I gave up all hope that this company could be fixed. I don't believe in it anymore, because I've been convinced many times, and I've seen several posts here where others also mention it, that all those who have an idea and the power to make some improvement - leave this company very quickly. Why this is so, I do not know.

This Company can be fixed IF AND ONLY IF they break this piece of sh!t of a Company up and whose glory has long faded into a very distant "baby-boomer" memory.

Reigning in CEO pay and bonus would be a nice start.

Too many people let go and too many people went on their own. Their is no focus beside month to month and fighting for whatever resources are left. Oh that's right the resources that are left are half a world away in China and India! Sad very sad, put a bullet in this one and put it out of its misery.

BTW heard that they are laying off Field Engineers (FE's)in the US, Hah! Those guys always thought they were immune. Who is laughing now? Even though it is not very funny... ruining people's livelihood. :(

Culture rewards those that look good at what they do instead of those that are good at what they do.
Future wholly sacrificed for the present. No long-term commitment.
There is no innovation/creativity/work smart mindset, just farm it out to India/China.
Dump a bunch of talking-head, power-point-slide pushing MBA/bean counters that live in fear of losing their high-paying, yet unearned paychecks, and hire people who do real work.

I think you do know... you get tired of hitting your head against the wall (and dealing with the egos of the "people leaders" WTF, just call them managers for crying out loud. The more people leave the more people do not know what the F to do in the day to day.

Meanwhile other Companies get stronger; GEHC not so much!

I sure wish GEHC would have been spun off into something new!
