Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Needs to said.

When the pandemic started last year the company did right by letting us have control of our territories as far as ordering and taking care of business as we know how to do. I'll admit some are better than others at it but at least we pushed through. There was certain things as allocations and shortages but that was across the board with not just us but the other vendors and the customers themselves. Again we pushed through. Then we were told we were lucky to at least have had a job through that time.. seriously...!! You were the lucky ones!! Not us!! We went to work on the frontline holding back the concerns about ourselves and our family and the people we might encounter out there.. at a time when everything was so new and uncertain and just flat out dangerous, we were out there.. where was management?! Huh??!! They were holed up in the comfort and safety of their own homes with their families close by in their protective bubbles.. I'm sure there was maybe one or two that came out and actually put some time in but for the most part I think the majority was sitting on their a$$ coming up with stupid cr-p for us to have to start doing as things started to open up.. thinking up of this cr-p just to justify their jobs.. you want to justify your jobs?? then bring your a$$ out here and really do some real work!! I used to be proud to say I worked for this company.. this is company is now a joke. DMI, ideploy, Crew, the Dstore project... all this bu-----p that supposedly will make us a better company.. what we did before was never broken, it always got results. Why did you mo--ns let another group of mo--ns trying to justify their undeserved salaries make you think otherwise??

Agree. Strongly believe that there is a long range plan. DSD just doesn't seem to make sense any longer. We just dont know the details of the plan. I need less than a year is only reason I'm here.

Totally agree. Every decision that is made here is the wrong one. I never imagined working for a company with a class of management that is so completely out of touch with the reality of the job. Every new app or program does nothing to help but in fact hinders the actual real work that needs to be done. The ones commenting we are "just stacking crackers" are severely underplaying what is actually happening out there and seem to be the words that would come from the very out of touch management with are hampered with.

Thanks for taking the time to say what needed to be said.

When they showed all the upper management, account managers, whoever the he-l these people are, etc, holding signs saying thank you, the only thing I saw is they were all at home, in comfy clothes, with their families.

Thank you??? More like F..k you!!!

So over all this companies BS!!!

I'm surprised you're not. You must be one of the ones trying to justify your position here.
