Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

How happy are you at JPM?

I've been following some of our competitors on this forum and it looks like we are among the lucky ones. Some of the things I've been reading about are happening here as well but to a much lesser extent. Overall, it seems like JPM employees are much happier than those at WFC or BNYM, for example. Am I wrong?

If you are suffering from depression, it is not hard for it to get worse when you work for Chase.
If you don't suffer from depression, working for Chase will soon give you a full blown case of it.

relatable. My manager only likes people that are talkative and have common interests with him. Those that only work hard but have zero interaction, he will pretend you don’t exist nor appreciate your work, while those that do sloppy work will still get a shout out if he likes you enough. Now I just won’t contribute as much to the team and “go above and beyond” anymore, and don’t blame me for it lol

Not sure if you guys are in the same boat as the other guy but he probably have responsibilities and burdens, that’s he needs the job. Lets face it, some of us are here only because of the paycheck, not because we love the job lol

If working at Chase is causing you depression and is compromising your physical health and
mental well being, it is time to leave. Try to request a package. No job or greedy corporation
is worth sacrificing your well being or dying for.

RIF during pandemic is a PR nightmare and political disadvantage. Expect a massive reductions is operations due to automation and outsourcing in the near future.
