Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

CPU

I have a question for those that are in CPU. My club gets about 150-170 orders a day with at least 30 being big orders (50 and up). We have 4 people a day that work am shift and 2 that work pm shift. We are suppose to have all orders done by 12:30 so all PM has to do is dispense. We struggle every day. With the new times we get no help from other areas. So my question is what is your max orders and how many people work a day on each shift. Curious how others are getting there’s done.

Our club its mostly the frontend and membership desk that pulls the orders and the cashiers dispenses them. We are short staffed on the 4 am shift that they have no time to do anything but stock. Now its so hard for the 4 am shift to pull orders since the frontend is in at 730. We have no CPU team yet.

We usually have 3 in CPU and 3 in SFC. This gives us 6 for the AM, and 6 for the PM crew. Unfortunately this doesn't happen everyday.

We are not getting SFC done and the 2nd shift has to work on what’s left. We have 1000 pieces a day for SFC and the two people we have can’t get it all done. It is a mess . There is no direction from our managers and no help and we just do what we can . The pm shift usually ha 3 people abs one who dispenses . The workload is not evenly distributed at all. Our TL does ship to club only when he is there . It really is a sh– show most everyday .

If you have cpu and sfh how are you doing it with 4 in the am and 2 in the pm? Do you have 2 in cpu and 2 in sfc in the morning? What do you have the PM shift doing?

We have around 100 to 120 orders a day usually 4 or 5 in the morning and 2 at night. One person only pulls coolers and freezer items the rest pull ambient. If team lead is there he dispenses all orders then we have a 2nd assigned person to come up and help if we get more than he can handle while others continue to pull orders. If teamlead is on closing shifts we have one dispenser that only dispenses and a assigned 2nd person we are done with all orders by 10 am and only have the few that pop in durning the day. Communication and team work is the key to this department. Once all orders are done we help in clothes or registers

We have 100-115 orders a day and we have 2 picking most days . We also have ship to home which takes the other two people we would have had in cpu. It is a total nightmare most everyday when dispensing starts . We have found it helps to have one person pull all the cold items . The whole thing is ridiculous how we have 5 minutes to dispense with 6 check ins at one time and dispensing at the car.

My club gets about 100 a day which is less thank god. However we have two people in the morning and sometimes 2 in the pm but with lack of coverage its only 1. I pull and dispense some days in the pm by myself. I drive a hi lo too as well so when pallet orders get dispensed i have to load them up as well because the pm shift doesnt get in til 3 and its sometimes hard to get them to work. I also take phone calls as well. I just bite the bullet and pull it sigh

My club is in the same sinking boat. We have have 120-130 orders a day with 4 on am and 2 on pm. We do good up till 7am and then we can’t keep up. Yea, we used to get help from cashiers in the morning however they do help when the afternoon shift comes in. They usually help us finish the orders.
