Interesting.... The Layoff removes postings critical of the WOKE CEO of Verizon. Is The Layoff getting kick backs from Verizon hence they yank every single posting that is critical of Hans?
It surely seems this way to any rational person that reads the layoff page!
I am sure this very posting will get yanked too... not because it's critical of Hans, but because it shines the light on The Layoff and it's love fest with Hans!

Let me help you out. Someone did post a topic that simply pointed out that Verizon workers are being laid off and Hans was sending out emails about voting right. I checked the rules and the OP did not cross a single rule. Yet the post was removed as predicted.
So that kind of blows up your theory.
Tell me what's more likely: this site that has thousands of forums for thousands of companies is in cahoots with one CEO (who probably has no idea this place even exists, talk about delusions of grandeur) OR the posts you're referring to are breaking the site's rules (I'm thinking either "no politics" or "no off-topic" on this one?)
Let me help you on this, it's the second one. Just check the site rules and don't post against them and I'll bet you your posts will stay up.

This very thread uses Hans name.... so far it's not been deleted, but give it time! In this case I don't think it's the name and I agree with the OP and others here. It's pretty obvious the people that run this site are in some kind of agreement with Hans and Verizon.
I think posts are removed when they name employees directly... I’m not 100% but over the years that what it seems to do. Even using initials seems to get it removed.
Another posting that took Hans to task over his woke company email over voting rights was deleted!
Clearly The Lay Off is in bed with Hans! I also suspect The Lay Off is giving Hans information about who is posting on this form. Anyone who thinks this is an Anonymous website needs to think again!

There is a difference between layoff(s) and voluntary RIF(s)....
they have been removing a ton of posts and comments. Check often if your interested because mods are slow. They are censoring the p–p out of everything.
To be accurate - there was a posting the other day that pointed out the CEO of VZ was laying people off and at the same time ranting about voting rights in a company wide email. That posting was removed and someone in that very thread actually predicted correctly that it would be removed. For the very same reason the OP of this thread has stipulated. It's pretty clear, say anything bad about the CEO of VZ and his woke rants and the thread will be taken down.
