Look, hold on to your seniority until you see if the CP - KCS merger goes through. If NS can’t stop the merger, the NS stock holders will be ready to throw NS to whatever Class 1 Railroad they can get a decent takeover price for the stockholders.

The whole roof is built out of wood, it’d be a real shame if someone went back solely to get paid $15/hr to burn it to the ground along with the pattern shop with all those nice mahogany molds 😏

I'm not hearing good things about SCX. They have straight ruined that shop with the Incompetence of leadership
there. By the end of the 3rd Qtr is about when SCX has run it's course.
That’s probably the long term plan for all shops. Paid Union Dues for 12+ years for this. We need to band together and sue these so called unions. It’s not even about getting any money but at least bankrupt them and k–l the cush cush jobs that are being paid for by dues. I read the unions tried to get us buyouts but I guarantee all that was done if anything was the question was asked not a push. Worried about number one while telling us to take care of our “brothers”.
They get it up and running then scx will be closed within 6 to 8 months. Let's see what kind of electrician and machinist They get for that money. What a f_____g joke!

If your willing to take $15 per hour, your willing to basically live on minimum wage because inflation is coming big time. You might as well do uber and pay less in taxes.
Sadly there are plenty out there who will take it.
