Is Bank of America hiring?

I would love to work here. I was displaced at another company but I interviewed here before and the perks seemed generous.

This company only hires people in higher level positions that belong to the good old proud boys club or politically connected. They will hire a few token ne––––s to make it look like they are diversifying. Most of the lower level banking center postions are filled by minorities. Real diversity begans at the top not at the bottom in any organization.

It's like these id--ts don't realize there's a vicious circle of the top people who can find another role are leaving the company, their work ends up going to the other 'good' people left on the team. Eventually they get fed up having to do extra work, also leave, and the only ones left to do the work are the deadbeats that can't get another role and the old people waiting to retire/be bought out.

I guess senior leaders are just waiting for the stock options to vest so they can bail out before the inevitable fu-k up occurs because all the talent has left the company.

What I don't get is why majority of hiring is from within...don't companies need to infuse their workforce with new talent to stay competitive? Is this a cultural move? What is everyone's view on this and impact to their teams? I just don't get it...kind of creepy too

There’s some jobs available to external people in home loan originations but good luck staying employed there when rates go up

Oh yeah the perks are great! You can get away with doing only one forth of the role you were hired to do.

This question is, to be charitable, uselessly vague. Are they hiring tellers? Investment bankers? Marketing project managers? Corporate real estate portfolio managers? Call center staff? Your area of interest is critical to providing you with an accurate response.

i've see that when people leave, they are not backfilling positions. Roles are being filled internally or the work is being taken over by those who remain. I've seen it firsthand several times already.
