Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

This is the truth about Nike’s “leadership”

“There is a tacit understanding that in exchange for preferential treatment, leaders are the first line of defense against threats to their people. In the world of business, however, that social contract is breached when leaders sacrifice those in their care to preserve their own benefits and privileges.”

To me, it seems that Nike’s leadership do nothing but sacrifice those in their care. Agree? Disagree? Why or why not. Go

It's because these "leaders" know they can up and leave at any time with millions in their pockets. They aren't loyal to Nike and probably don't really care to be.
