My experience with Tuboscope was a positive one. I don’t get all of the hate on here.
Probably because we keep carrying Wellbore
I was in Tuboscope for several years gossiping my way up the ladder little by little but saw it would be difficult to convince these guys they could trust me. So, I worked and convinced a VP at Rig to bring me under his wing. There I was able to grow and run over folks in the process including the VP that brought me over. I’m still here and although it’s been bumpy a year because my papichapi retired & I was demoted they still let me have this nice corner office and they don’t care if I know anything about selling rigs. It’s too easy folks haha.
Morale of the story is....Tuboscope might seem like a backward thinking division...but you guys are light years ahead of the bozos at Rig.
I worked briefly with the Tuboscope division ...have never seen a more backward software used. I respect all the devoted employees but sometime ya just have to get with the program and upscale your operations
Because the head of Wellbore came from there, it is his history and legacy.
