Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Are there any good clubs?

What I mean is, are there clubs with good managers who try to make work as pleasant as possible and foster good and cooperative work environment? When I worked at Home Depot years ago, I remember the store atmosphere varied drastically and it always came down to management. I wonder if the same thing is going on here or is this place just bad across the board?

My managers drive forklifts all around help us drop on the evening and my general manager even help us unload the truck in back room. I’ve been in a lot of clubs but nothing like the one I’m in right now. Although it’s far from perfect the managers do care about their job and actually help us.

I would say our sams club is pretty good. I mean yeah we have mangers where some are better than others but none of our mangers go out to write people up. I don't think they really ever do many write ups at all. Sure they have bad day, some work harder than others, and they do have favorites but as an associate who am I to say anything because I have my fav mangers to. So I would say I guess we are pretty lucky they are not perfect and I don't like a couple of them but that don't make them managers. I wish they wouldn't do the fav thing but it is what it is. Myself I just do my job and go home and stay as far away from ones I don't care for and just go to ones I like.

Sounds like you need a reminder. You shouldn’t return evil with evil appears
You are the dark seed by the ugly weight comment. Perhaps you should take a good long look in the mirror.

All managers at Sam’s are lazy!!!
They pick their favorite associates, walk around the store doing nothing or sitting down in the office watching tik tok videos 😂😂

We've got one manager, who makes it her life's work to write up as many people as possible. At least one a week or more. I'll bet, if they looked, she'd be the only one who coaches anyone. And it's always over stupid stuff. Things that everyone does and she'll picks out that one person. Then there's the nonsense stuff, like someone went over their lunch, even though they were told to, so they wouldn't have overtime. That person wasn't even on her team. It was reversed. She even wrote someone up for something she did. I believe that one was reversed too, but I can't be sure. I wasn't involved and that person refused to talk about it. The rest of the managers are fair and easy to get alone with. She's a micromanaging nightmare. Makes me happy she's getting fat.

Any club or business is a reflection of management.
