Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Failed launches and deliberate outsourcing rewarded

Here”s the rewards for fumbling the launches and moving business away from US to Mexico and China. Detroit Freep:

Hau Thai-Tang, who was promoted from chief product development and purchasing officer to chief product platform and operations officer, at $11,780,405.
Kumar Galhotra, president of the Americas and International Markets Group, earned $8,534,094. His responsibilities expanded last year.

Shameful.

ONLY if you live in Wayne County. All others, you are out of luck. We are left playing the vaccine hunger games.

Ford just announced free vaccinations for employees and their family members 16+ years old.

Have to show a drivers license or government issued ID plus Ford ID of some sort. Vaccination Intimidation !!!

Execs must be woke. It's about morality and connecting with rich brainwashed customers who think morality is being woke. Don't question the execs bad decisions like we live in the times of Henry Ford and W. Edwards Deming you plebian evil boomer.

The article below is pretty old and things are much more crazy now.

Did HTT do the Maverick? Can't make cars efficiently so we convert platform to a unibody small truck. Folly that will be panned by the market (except Ranger customers). We are in a tailspin for product and manufacturing process.

Actually it is well over $1B in Warranty costs. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of customers that had too bring there vehicles back in to the dealerships. These customers are not happy with the Ford product. Ford has no way of tracking the warranty issues in a timely manner compared to the other OEMs.

Don’t forget about the $1B in warranty costs and commitment to buy chips that violate patents.

Great additions to the FoMoCo management team.

Why do we not see posts like this for other car companies?
