All this is, and ever is; is an executive staff bleeding the company until they are forced out. Same old story, run the company into the ground with short term thinking until we once again face bankruptcy. How many times have we danced this dance. Yet here Ford is AGAIN. A flailing team looking for short term salary gains at the cost of quality. Then to get so desperate to then have the US employees pull Ford from the brink like we did not to long ago when Mullally took over. Every was pulled back to the US to fix. Always on our backs cycle after cycle while the execs rack in their multi million salaries and bonuses.

: @2jjz+1agwul8A I am not a employee with a grudge. Happy where I am at. By the way you write I would assume a management person? Don't know what org. ? But the results speak for themselves as to how your types are judged? We are still a one trick PONY called F-Series. Until that changes we are living on borrowed time. Mach E or Bronco nice we enter new segments but 3 years down the road tells the success and staying power of a vehicle. We forced out those old white guys in the mid 90s. Guess what they new the customer, And we have vehicle line making as much money at F-Series. So personally I do not care what the person is black, white, male or female. As long as they know what they are doing. All we see are boobleheads. YES Yes men. You speak of Europe. Why do they have 3 pd centers to NA 1? Why a PD center in Australia? I recall Hau stating w had 9 worldwide. We have more VPs than GM and they are 2-3 our size. I am sorry but since Allan left we have no bench. In fact if you are so smart answer this question. Since 06 Ford 2 of the 4 last CEOs were outsiders why is that?

I would expect no less of a response from the Wizard. Not drinking the Kool-Aid Jim. Can’t get out of our own way and deluded management is at the center of our issues. As we continue to globalize Ford, keep track of how many buyers move away from us due to quality and assembly issues. Think buyers in Mexico, Brazil, and China will fill the gap. Didn’t think so either.

This is a global issue that affects all automakers not only Ford. People writing in this blog are conspiracy theorists bitter because they have not been recognized at Ford. Be honest with your comments, you are bitter and your vitriol is palpable on your words. Ford would be better off if the vehicles are assembled in German, Spain, Turkey, Brazil, etc. Ford factories with strong work ethic, even the design can be done in England or Germany since they have parallel design organizations to Dearborn. Ford supply base is all over the world, Canada, Spain, Germany, Italy, China, Brazil, Mexico, etc. Even the corporations like Magna, Borg Warner, Linamar, Exidy, Luk, AAM, KPMC, Sumitomo, Sensata, EFI, iTek, etc, you name it have operations all over the world, if the cost of making vehicles in the US is too expensive then Ford is entitled to look for opportunities to save money, in the end Ford is a publicly trade company like Apple, GM, Dell, Nike, New Balance, etc, In the end Ford must look for their investors regarding of where they buy parts or make vehicles. Any one with 401K investment cares of their ROI regardless of where the company makes their products. This is trend is not new, Ford opened operation all over the world since the early 60's, for those complaining should go back to their country of their ancestors (Italy, Poland, etc.) or find a job in another company. Ford management team finally is showing guts to go against the current and firmly move fwd in the 21st century, As team leader I have access info that makes me proud of working for Ford. Just ask your team leaders for details available to them for the future steps taking place, you will be amazed of how solid those plans are. Stop whining and work hard for the company that pays your salary, if you have not been promoted, who cares, at least you have a well paid job. Remember, Europe, South East Asia, etc, have as good engineers are we have in the US, whining won't keep our jobs here but cutting waste at the VO a-sy line, reducing a-sy plants inefficiency. Look at VW, BMW, Toyota, etc, their a-sy lines are in the South, maybe is time for Ford to move to Alabama and start a factory w/o union just look at Amazon.
Ford is a great company to work for.
