Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Back stabbing

Anyone ever had to deal with another coworker whom befriends to move ahead ? You hear them talk negative about them and then when in front of that person complete opposite. I’ve seen this happen in my club and unfortunately I’m not in a position to address this due to the fact they are above me. Sadly I’ve overheard the convos. It’s as if this manager is targeting the other manager and strategic at it, I don’t know that she even knows. I feel for her can’t be easy working in that position as the only female.
I guess my question long and short was should I tell her what I’ve heard ?

I understand it when my coworkers have to vent sometimes about the stuff other people do. This year has been hard for everyone. Some people are still taking advantage of the Covid leave, fail the daily questionnaire on purpose because of a runny nose due to springtime allergies and much worse. I'm sick of it also. I'm tired of working terribly hard and failing to meet standards. I need to vent sometimes. Most of us do. Many posts here reveal the same point. After the bogus call outs start getting points and PPTO is used up, it will get better. Until then we'll still vent and be disappointed with others, but we all have to be civil toward one another, even if it's just face to face, because we still need each other. For real though, by now everyone knows who the fakers are.

We should write a book about working at Sam's Club.

Sounds like the same issue at my club, have to wonder if this post is about my club. When you are not a manager kinda appear to be invisible at times so you see and hear a lot more. We have a managers who talk Sh&@t about the other manger and nice as can be when she’s around.

Our club is like being back in high school. There is so much gossip and back stabbing among associates and the front end COS', it is comical. Management does nothing about it. Whatever happened to respect for the individual?

I would bet money that she already knows.

Tough call on telling her, I would say it might complicate things even more for her, and you. Odds are if you’ve heard it some others have as well and perhaps they will be exposed at their own hand.
