I’ve been with this company through some hard times so I don’t say this lightly, but this company has no direction and there are fewer and fewer knowledgeable people in decision-making roles on any level. I always thought I would finish my career here but I have made the decision to move on.

Career is for losers and turkeys. You can only look back retrospectively on a career. Going forward, you gotta hustle on your own.
Me neither
If you actually had hope and dreamed watson would be a thing, you weren’t paying attention. Watson was simply a fast computer in search of a problem.
@1jxi and meanwhile Watson go behind the scenes in IBM, Microsoft buy Nuance and restart the game, Health - AI.

What a sad thing , how many resources, people, hopes .. wasted.
IBM will get rid of TSS and GBS , that's for sure..so it is dead company already.
OpenShift is the new Watson.
They are close to dead last in cloud yet still "all in" with cloud lol.
A wise man once said: You gotta look out for number one, while not stepping in number two.
You would think that a company that has seen a product (Watson) failing for years would not bet everything on it... yet now IBM is trying to embed it in every single product!!!
I absolutely do after 30+ years retirement is my career path 😀. Great planning and dodging many RA’s is the path I’m on.
stop having wet dreams that the company will bounce back, it ain't gonna happen. the earlier you leave, the better off you will be.
A few years back I told an IBM friend of mine, "If Watson stops being a specific technology and starts being a blurry brand, you'll know it has failed."
Unfortunately there are no prizes for being right
You’re not wrong. I just saw an ad for IBM during the Masters. Does anybody even know what “IBM Watson” is any more?
