Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

No more suffering!

Been a week since I walked out! As a fresh lead, I can confidently say that $22 was not worth me losing time with my kids and going on anxiety meds. FAM’s at my club had no clue how to run the place and ran us all til we couldn’t run anymore. No more dealing with random rudeness from managers or expectations that even the most organized person would question! So happy at my local grocery store and more time at home. sc–wthat place.

Your right, you lovers can come and bi–h and complain all you want. Just let's us know you wish you were still with us but you couldn't hack it. My life is great 30 plus years with the company making great money and made lots of great friends. Thank you Sam's club.

Lmao. Break room team lead 😂 I love it 😂😂 h–l yeah, there’s no rules stating that you can’t come on this website to bi–h and complain about the company. I don’t see that in the rules anywhere, sounds like you’re just salty you’re stuck While a lot of us are moving on to companies that actually care about our home life, our mental health and our well-being. I really wish you the best I hope your career is prosperous and really easy for you 🤌🏽

Nice retort. You probably spent a couple hours on the clock coming up with it.

The fact that you thought being a lead was stressful says a lot about all of you, you all must suck at time management and making your associates do what they are suppose to. I have zero issues and it’s probably one of the least stressful spots I’ve ever worked and I’ve been in this company for over 10 years.

So you quit but you still come here to bi–h. Guess you really still want to be at sams. Move on already.

I also quit after many years and it was the BEST decision ever. Management is too worried about sitting in the office talking and laughing all day instead of doing their jobs! Sadly, not 1 of them could be trusted either so associates have nobody to go to!

The best part about it is, no! I did not have another job lined up for me LOL! That’s how tired of that place I was. It was all management I know if we have different management and better decisions were made, I would most likely still be there. Couldn’t take it anymore, walked in for my closing shift and the final straw was both fresh area managers having a complete nasty attitude with me so I threw everything down and walked out. Best decision I’ve ever made in my life LOL I am currently at another bakery as a cake decorator. No rush to move up either. The pay cut was worth being treated like a normal person finally! The grass is definitely a little bit greener😅

🍻👍 Trust me you will have no regrets. I quit after 20 years. It cost me my health and many birthdays and holidays with family. The grass is greener on the other side. Try to stay out of retail. There are many jobs that don't require having 6 supervisors who couldn't give a hoot about you or your family and waking up everyday saying I Hate MY JOB. I went to work in construction as a flag person. Standing in the elements and making great money.

So you did find another job already, did you fine it before you quit ? That would of made it easier to quit on the spot like you did. Good for you , I quit on the spot also being pushed out a little faster ,I was going to talk to the manager the same day I quit & give her a 2 week notice ,but it felt better to just walk on my morning manager. I still laugh about it a year later. Are you in another bakery? Good Luck & Congratulations!!!!
