How long after TPG starts managing DirecTV until workforce adjustments?

Directv employees need to jump ship now, because it's sinking fast.
From what I've heard... after this year the cuts will start.
@1rbw+1akDL2Yq The majority of companies have zero or very little safety nets for their employees. Take Amazon, they outperform AT&T and their employees have reprehensible working conditions. Same can be said about Apple employees and working conditions. @1nkg+1akDL2Yq is right. TPG is buying to make a profit, not to spend more on liabilities.

Um, those safety nets are in place to make the work environment better for the workers. Doing away with them would have the opposite effect. That's real ATT-think. Orwell would be proud.
TPG is better managed than AT&T. I don't see worker reductions happening at all, considering they will want to grow business. What will likely happens is that the terms and conditions of Wire Techs and PremTechs will be changed at the end of the existing contract. So the work environment will be better, but contractual safety nets will likely be eviscerated.
Very simple....Google Bill Morrow, read about his past business history....you'll easily be able to put together the road map for the company.....it's not a good one.
