Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Someone's quit... here comes even more work

When I heard today that another colleague is leaving, I automatically wanted to resign as well. I am glad for him, but I am afraid that I will not be able to withstand a stronger pace, because whenever a colleague leaves this place, I end up having more work to do.
They just don’t realize how overwhelmed most of us are with the amount of work.

As long as you do 2 jobs and don't make any noise what does your boss care. If you complain to much he'll just offshore your job and have you train them.

retention at JPMC seems to be high though...no incentive to correct behavior if retention is low and everyone wants to stay...pay may be lower but benefits are on the highend for the industry.
