Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Post

Why is this message board not filled with constructive criticism. Every post has one liner anecdotes, real arguments should be based on something that makes sense in the English Language. How far has the American English gone; are there over 10 thousand dialects; or maybe more? Real discussion takes agreement and disagreement, does anyone agree?

I understand some of you don't understand us at all. Please take note of the Simpsons show, Frank Grimes, you don't want to get to the bottom it. I am not the leadership that partnered with Google and bought AOL. I am not complaining about life, its just that all some of you have is internet history, you don't have all the facts. I am not the previous administration that was playing golf every weekend, instead of working.

I don't think this was all happened all out of my own free will, but if your should ask this started around when I was 5/6 years old, around this Third Rock from the Sun. I am not trying to prove anything here, can some of you at least pretend your respect the USA Constitution?

@3hhd, at what age did you agree to become a useful id––t, a tool of the rich, a simpleton puppet whose self–defeating imbecilic mindset allows his strings to be so tightly pulled that he can no longer distinguish between an equitable world and the one in which he’s existing in?
So, you argue for and support policies and a tax system that is detrimental to you and your kids? Why?

  • and don’t go that name–calling socialist / co––––––t route. That’s as old and played s McCarthyism (if you’re too young and ignorant to understand the reference, you have learned nothing from history, and are doomed to repeat it ( as the wealthy have a good chuckle at your expense – and an easy life, as well).

I am saying that slave labor and ra-e against women is bad, nothing to do with what kind of a work week you have. We enjoy our plastic Christmas while people are suffering overseas.

In a regular Utopia, the rich wouldn't take all the wealth, but would make sure all of society would be able to reap in the profits.

I am saying, why does every person from this country who sits around and doesn't do any manual labor; think they know anything? Why did your billionaire class go overseas and start factories?

@3hhd+1alJSo3h, why do you feel that 100% of the profits and benefits gained from time-saving, labor-reducing innovation (i.e., computers), should only profit the top rather than all of society?
If life was fair and, if the rich were not so greedy as to hog up most of the communal pie, a two-day workweek, one that would be able to cover living expenses, would have been the norm for the past twenty years.

You’re free to work two days a week if you want, if you’d like I can can rent you a box to live in, it includes one free cup of ramen a day.

Yeah I am saying it is a bad thing. Only a union would think it is great to spend the majority of your life WORKING. How about a 2 day work week? What trash...

Are you saying the 40 hour workweek is a bad thing? Dont like your weekends? That’s pretty sad, life is meant to be enjoyed, not wasted slaving away 7 days a week.

Does anyone know why this corporation has their PR against slave labor, why do they even care? Don't all the billion dollar factories in China employ the people being oppressed?

Yeah would never happen today. Too many labor laws. Unions are obsolete. NEXT!

Have you studied the American workforce history, the 9 to 5 workday used to be a dream in the late 18000. Back in the day there was child labor where there was a 7 day a week workday.

Unions are responsible for 5 day 40 hour work weeks which is terrible. Unions are bankrupting government entities and forcing manufacturing overseas. FACTS!

I don't understand some of you; it was stated that the leadership just wants the non union workers to be against the union. The unions saved the American workforce, do you all want your children to be at the factories again or some bu—t, the current year is not 1909, but 2021.
