Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

How many years until raises come back

Guesses on when raises will come back? We will be behind due to inflation so will take some big raises just to catch up to where we were before.

Competitors are already hiring again. This company is just a s–t show lately. No raises next year and many more will quit. We are already at >16% MPT for our location AFTER the pips and layoffs let people go.

Not sure why people are concerned about this. EM has to resume raises when competitors start hiring again. If they don't, then it's the company which should be worried, not the employees.

Heard it is back in Singapore. Only by exceptions. Can someone validate this?

Remember last down turn when they said raiders are back and then gave out raises of a couple hundred bucks (annual increase). People were pi—d. It was insulting for them to say raises were back and then give that amount. I knew people who didn’t make more money for five years based on adjusting salary For inflation.
