Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman ("Milberg") received a $11.1 million verdict today on behalf of client Scott Kingston who alleged IBM wrongfully terminated him after raising claims of racial bias in the treatment of his subordinates. Milberg attorneys Matthew E. Lee and Jeremy Williams, and Brittany Glass and Toby Marshall of Terrell Marshall Law Group PLLC represented Mr. Kingston in a Zoom jury trial held in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.

Note that most of the employees in this case still work for IBM today.

We need to see more of these cases come out. Managers are mostly inept and incapable of motivating their direct reports, but when a good egg gets the shaft justice should prevail. But don't get me wrong, I have no sympathy for managers: I report to a rotten manager who has no people skills and just sleeps with his pipeline report. But in this case I am glad to hear of the outcome.

This is just the beginning. They will lose every case. I am sure IBM will appeal, but the damage is done. Nobody will want to work for IBM. They bully, discriminate and work their employees to de–h. Good luck to a once proud company that has turned to s–t. Great job GINNI. You and the as—e executives that drank you coolaid are solely to blame!!!
